In decembre 2015 was published a report on “Banks and Human Rights. A legal analysis”. This analysis is particularly useful in mapping the various legal and voluntary standards at play, and exploring potential liabilities for banks when involved in human rights abuses. The authors of this report, Foley Hoag LLP and the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative have acknowledged the contribution of experts, including Professor John Ruggie and Elise GroulxzDiggs for the insights they provided at various stages of the report development.
